That’s right, it’s me! I’m headed down to Savannah after work on Thursday to attend my sister’s wedding. As if I wasn’t thrilled enough already. This is going to be fun.

Fit an outboard to the 335?

I would need a 335 first.

Which car is going to be your steed in this? I drove my M3 through Hurricane Matthew a few years ago. Good times!

3 series, I really don’t see the point in taking the M3 on trips like this. I’m taking interstates there and back, so there is almost no advantage of taking the M3.

Stay safe, man.

I though your 3 was a 335. What is it?

328, I didn’t want two expensive BMWs. While I’d like a 335, I didn’t want to pay for potential expensive issues.

That makes more sense. A close friend has a 2012 E93 328. Its quite a fun car!

There is always an advantage...it’s an M3...on a road trip!

It’s boring interstates, it costs more to drive, I worry about parking, I have to park it outside, there are no fun roads at my destination . It’s all the little things, which is why I bought the 3.

Right now I’m scheduled to drive out near Fayetteville on Thursday morning . . . looks like maybe just as Michael is scheduled to get there, so I probably will be driving through some serious rain. And showing contractors a site in the rain.
Maybe it will have passed you by already by Thursday evening, if I read the forecasts correctly.

I’m hoping that’s the case. It looks as if it’ll be fast moving, but, as with a lot of forecast, they’re incorrect. I remember when Irma was supposed to nail Savannah as a cat. 5, I fled and the remnants of the storm hit where I fled to harder than Savannah; not that it was bad or anything .

My client just told me that they don’t want to pay for me to be there in person on Thursday , so now I get to avoid the rainy drive and wet construction meeting and instead try to answer questions by phone.
I’m okay with that.
E specially because all our fleet vehicles were spoken for, and apparently Hurricane Florence destroyed rental car availability, accordingly to the office administrator who tried to get me one. (Probably only checked with the preferred vendor.) I was going to have to put the miles on one of my vehicles.
